In previous years, the highest award that an INJAZ student company team would compete for was the coveted “Company of the Year” award in the regional Young Entrepreneurship Competition. This year, JA Worldwide changed this case through “The de la Vega Global Entrepreneurship Award”
Student teams, who were winners of the 2020 regional competitions from across six regions, competed for the award now offered by JA Worldwide through the generous support of the de la Vega family.
The 2021 award winners, the JA Denmark team “Bubbles”, went home with a cash prize of $15,000 to share. “Shatla” the student company from INJAZ Oman, an online marketplace platform that links agricultural products suppliers with customers, represented MENA in the global competition as one of the six finalists who won $5000 to share among team members, to invest back into their businesses, or start new ventures.
