#KEEPLEARNING KEEPS GOING

A few months ago, the spread of the COVID-19 global pandemic disrupted life as we knew and set us on a new path where our resilience and resourcefulness were put to the test. In a united effort, the JA Worlwide network launched its #KeepLearning initiative to support and encourage ongoing youth empowerment and learning despite challenges presented by the disruption.

From the beginning of this situation, INJAZ Al-Arab member nations remained focused and committed to continue offering MENA youth engaging learning experiences online. Months later, our teams continue to explore and expand the INJAZ offerings to motivate our youth to keep going and #KeepLearning!

Delivery of JA/ INJAZ programs continued for youth from different age groups. This included the flagship “Company Program” delivered to high school and university students across the region so that the teams can continue their annual journey allowing them to compete nationally and regionally. Member nations such as Bahrain, Kuwait and the UAE have already concluded their national competitions virtually and selected teams are preparing for the regional competition.

Implementation of digital skills enhancement programs such as “Maharat Min Google” and SAP’s Digital Skills for Today have also continued online. In addition, virtual innovation camps have been executed in partnership with different sponsors and experts on both the national and regional level across MENA. These intersected with many member nations’ virtual online summer camps that offered students a rich learning experiences and options for their time before going back to school.

The INJAZ network is adamant to maintain and strengthen its connection with MENA youth, through awareness, knowledge, and motivation and to always encourage them to #KeepLearning no matter the circumstances!
